Top Notch Landscapes has been our landscaping company for about 20 years. They have done an … More outstanding job for us, both at our main home in Berkeley Lake and our lake house on Lake Lanier. Our house in Berkeley Lake was hit by a tornado back in 1998 and our woodsy cul-de-sac backyard was nothing but a bunch of dirt afterwards. Top Notch has done almost all our work over the years since and they have renovated our formerly sad-looking backyard into a beautiful haven we enjoy more every day. At our lake house, they completely renovated the landscaping at the front of the house, cut back tons of overgrown azaleas, hollies and such around the property, and also have helped us tremendously by correcting a lot of drainage problems.
Top Notch has done a variety of work for us: a significant amount of drainage work at both houses, irrigation diagnostics and corrections, lighting work, total backyard makeover with plenty of custom landscaping, front yard makeover, driveway extension, patio design and construction, stone walkway design/install, custom retaining wall design and construction, sod installation, outdoor faucet installations, and there’s probably plenty I'm forgetting! One thing I especially have appreciated with their work is that they did not just throw out everything we already had, but instead included several existing plants in their design, moving them to a much better location. They even moved a huge Japanese maple tree that was at the front of the house to the side of the house by the garage where it is still thriving.
I highly recommend Chris and Tyler! Good, honest guys who quickly become friends. We will forever be calling Top Notch when we need landscaping work done. The pictures speak for themselves.
